Border Collie - The Smarty Pants (Sweet Potato Liver)
The brainy Border Collie was born to herd: people, other pets, cars, the bag of apples that you’ve dropped. Smart, loving and always keeping an eye on their flock, Collies will never leave your side. Don’t let their intense stare scare you - Collies are just hyper-focused workaholics, devoted to the entire family and eager to please. Highly intelligent and quick to learn, they usually make the dean’s list at obedience school. Just make sure you give Border Collies lots of exercise or they’ll seek creative outlets (like chewing on your sofa) for unspent energy.
Bernese Mountain Dog - The Farmer (Beef Tendersticks)
Tractor pulls are no match for this friendly giant. Originally bred in Switzerland to work on farms, Bernese Mountains Dogs are as strong as they are cuddly - able to pull 10x their body weight (aka a car). These pooches are alert and confident, but can be on the shy side with people who aren’t their people. A super chill demeanour also makes them the ideal family pet, with a penchant for snuggles and naps. Just make sure you aren’t in a studio apartment because a “Berner” can tip the scales at 120 pounds.
Terrier - The Jock (Semi Moist Chicken)
Being petite has its perks. This breed lives up to the feisty terrier reputation and is proud of it. A true athlete who excels in canine competitions, this determined pooch with an independent streak has an endless supply of energy and courage. He often enjoys putting his digging skills to good use, particularly if he’s going after a critter. A true terrier, he’s fast and clever, plus his lighthearted nature makes for a pet who’s always game for some fun.
Australian Shepherd - The Track Star (Mini Trainer Freeze Dried Beef)
The Australian Shepherd will steal your shoes and your heart. They can easily outsmart their owners with intelligence, drive and focus for days. Best known as a “rodeo dog”, they were originally bred to herd cattle so they like having a job to do, even if it’s just getting the squeaker out of a toy. This is a creative canine that will find ways to entertain herself if boredom sets in; have plenty of toys lying around or you could return home to find your place looking like a frat house after a keg party. A highly devoted doggo, she...
